About Me

Hi and welcome to my blog!

So you've obviously come to this page to find out who the girl is behind all the blog posts.

Well to start things off I someone who is very bubbly and can ramble on for hours on topics that I enjoy. I am someone who is perceived as a very happy and joyful person, but that's just the exterior. What's going on inside me is someone completely different. For the most part I actually am a pretty happy joyful person but there a lot of struggling days where it feels like I am just pulling my feet to get out of bed and put on a face for people.

I was raised in a pretty strict religious household, and for the most of my life I never had a problem with it, until I started learning more about what goes on within the religion and the hypocrisy I started noticing and also realizing that it was a huge part of where my anxiety and depression has rooted from.

I grew up never thinking I was someone who had depression or anxiety. I was always so happy and bubbly and all over the place and I had seen people with depression and always thought to myself "I'm not like that so I don't have depression" but as I started getting older and learning more and more about the illness I started thinking about myself, who I was now and who I was then and a lot of things started triggering in me, making me start to realize that maybe I actually have had it my whole life and just never knew, or never had anything trigger it until recently.

I've made a lot of huge, life altering changes in my life recently and I am working on track to making a better life for myself. So essentially what you can expect on this blog is going to be a lot of stuff that I like and making healthier life decisions for my life. What I like is food, health, essential oils, travel, movies, TV shows, crafts, baking, photography, hiking, camping, nature and all sorts of other things. I am essentially more of an artsy type of person and enjoy learning new things. I am on a bit of an exploitative mission to really find out who I really am and also get myself back to a healthier person - in a natural way.
