Leftover BBQ steak chow mein
Ingredients
1 pkg of double happiness chinese style chow mein noodles
1 small onion
1/4 pkg of shredded carrots
1 small head of broccoli
5 large crimini mushrooms
2 leftover AAA top sirloin steak
1 bunch of green onion
1 celery stalk
1/4 green pepper
Vegetable oil
Soy sauce mix
About 2 tsp of sesame sauce
About 1/4 cup (just under) soy sauce
1 tsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy
1. Saute and fry up noodles in wok with vegetable oil and a about a tsp of sesame oil. Add some water to the noodles in pan. Heat up until the noodles have seperated and started to crisp up a bit. Take out of work and set aside on a plate.
2. Make soy sauce mixture. Set aside.
3. Add diced onion, shredded carrots, celery, green onion to work with oil. Mix together. Add mushrooms and broccoli. Add about half of soy sauce mix to veggies and coat. Add steak. Mix. Add noodles in small amounts mixing each time. Add the rest of the soy sauce mix. Toss and make sure evenly coated.
